This is the fourth (maybe fifth?) time we've stayed in this house and we will keep coming back because we're comfortable, in the exact perfect location, have everything we need for cooking our own meals, can bring our pup and family, and can charge our electric car... all under the same roof! It's a huge blessing for our kids to feel right at home in "our Portland Amber-BMB" (as the kids call it) and for us to be close to family, all while being in a quiet area that is easily accessible. Zandin is also an incredible host, great to communicate with and gracious with allowing us an early checkin! We appreciate this home, this host, and will keep booking for every trip that we can.

Zandin and his wife built this place from the ground up with so much care and intention. It’s obvious the hosts thought of everything—the attention to detail was truly impressive. There were white noise machines in every room, complete sleeping, eating, and bathing kits for babies, a thoughtful pet box with towels and poop bags, a small gym, and even EV charging. Every room was beautifully decorated and felt both stylish and comfortable. Honestly, we’d come back here just for the interior design alone. The hosts were very accommodating and quick to respond to our messages. We highly recommend this place! Thank you!!

We loved staying at this home! We travel every year to avoid holidays with fireworks (as our senior pup can’t handle loud noises) and this was a great spot for such a visit. (We heard a few ‘booms’ around midnight, but nothing major and they stopped fairly soon.) As a note for other dog parents, the front yard is a great size for a medium dog, but one side facing the neighbor is a bit lower and can be seen through. Not a big deal for us, but if your dog is sensitive to such things, it’s worth noting.
The home itself was very spacious, quiet, comfortable and clean. The kitchen had wonderful appliances and tools, and there was an abundance of linens in the bathrooms. One random thing we really appreciated was that the upstairs was super well sound insulated from the downstairs. One of us could be watching TV downstairs at a fair volume, and the other person upstairs would never have known!
We’d definitely recommend this place to other travelers :)

We highly recommend Zandin’s home. They thought of every last detail to make our stay comfortable! The kitchen is well stocked? The decor is cozy and clean and the beds are comfortable. The fenced yard was great for our fur babies. The layout is great with a group. Very private and quiet for those who like to sleep in. Great with a large family! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This is the second time we've booked, and it's totally worth it for our big family to be in two separate places but on the same property. The houses are in great shape and look fantastic, are warm and well-decorated, and most importantly, are a comfortable home-away-from-home. We'll continue to book when both houses are available!

Zandin's place was great and super comfortable for my wife and I and our two dogs, we had enough space to both work remotely. The place is fully stocked with everything you need and they thought of every detail. The location is perfect for access to all over Portland, the area felt extremely safe to us as well, we walked the dogs in the neighborhood regularly. We would definitely stay at this Airbnb again, the communication throughout our stay was great, if we needed anything Zandin responded right away. If you're looking for somewhere to stay that's clean and comfortable and a great location, this is the place. We could get to downtown in 15-20 min, Beaverton in 30 min and Happy Valley in 15 min, great central location

This house is incredible! It had everything I needed and more. It combines classic beauty and function with necessary safety updates in a way that make a 100 year old home feel welcoming and brand new to you.
This host was helpful, responsive, and extremely friendly.
Zandin's house is perfect for individuals who want some space, small gatherings of friends, and family dog time.

One of the best AirBnb’s we’ve stayed at over the past 5 years. The Huge yard was great for my dog and the house was very clean, very new and very cozy. We would absolutely rebook this property again. Zandin was very responsive and friendly.

This was one of the best stays we have had in a while. Upon check in the accommodations were immaculate, the bedding and everything arranged beautifully. We had no issues and we appreciated Zandins patience with all of our obvious questions.
There were a bit of ants (to be expected with the season) but they were addressed and not an issue so as long as everything stays tidy. The water pressure was great, AC units worked perfectly and while we didn't get to use the fire pit outside, we'll say it on the list for the future if they have us again!
There are some walkable food and market options but most things are going to be a 20 min drive down two solid roads (we had a rental). Hope to stay again next year since it looks like it a visit to Powells is going to be a yearly thing lol.
